The ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas Zamiifolia) is a low-light succulent that tolerates a great range of light levels and soil compactness. Its fascinating to watch the growth progression from the “bud” to a full-fledge frond. Basically, the ZZ plant is a lower grower - you may get just two or three buds each year. When buying a ZZ plant, I’d recommend looking for a specimen that has a few unopened stems, so you’ll have something fun to witness over the next few months.
**Please note that some plants are more delicate to the shipping process, as it can cause shock, and may arrive with browning or damaged leaves. Plants that arrive a little stressed can bounce back quickly with a little watering and placement in indirect sunlight/ partial shade. **
